I call Dallas TX my home at the moment. And there's not much to say but that I enjoy writing passionately. I write in fragments and in run-ons, I jump from first person to third, I defy correct punctuation and I make it an effort. Not to defy all of my Journalism teachers but to simply add my own voice. For it to be read the way I mean it.

I believe it is so important to have your own writers voice. Everyone can copy and paste that the sky is blue, but if you know, in your own way, how to describe a beautiful horizon and can then project that in your writing so that the reader truly captures it and is moved then you have succeeded.

I write at times for others. I truly believe that every person has a story. And that every story is worth telling.

I welcome comments of all types in hope that they are constructive criticism. Feel free to write to me or email me with request for it also helps to fight the writers block at times.

But most of all if you take anything from my writing is that though there are many stories and many versions to those stories we must celebrate life and everything that happens in it. We must embrace the good with the bad. The lessons with the regret. So at the end of the day though we write in pen we allow life to happen and for us to be a part of it.

xoxo,

Mimi
